Yes, maybe there is no answer.
I think that there is no miracle about feeling.
It's exactly the same physiologic process like when I see, hear, or feel pressure.
Only the structure is different but you may rebuilt it outside yourself, in a robot.

So to see and to hear primarily is mechanic motion.
Sure, one feels then but to see itself is mechanic.
In addition, ai does it way better than me these days.
To hear is not different; you may take a disc with a writer making lines that follow the soundwaves, so a real thing.
I'm just wondering how to do that with a feeling.
It looks to me as if it is lightyears away, but there should be a solution - for sure.

Therefore, fact is that ai may get it soon self-learning.
Feeling, it may get all then - an understanding for need; intention...

ai and robots are machines, yes.
but we people are the same.
so i think that self-awareness, feeling as a human being is an illusion.
all what i do is solving problems.
e.g. i am in a room and want to leave it.
then look around, see a door, and identify it with pictures of doors in my memory and the word "door" and its definition as an exit.
then i go, open the door, and leave the room.
so what i need is pictures of doors, a memory of motion and a series of motions for handling the set, and an arrow showing me the door as solution. that is a word and its definition.
... by the way, the algorithms may disappear. and i guess, research is about this especially, these days.

now, everything else what i am doing is exactly the same solving problems - providing me by breathing, drinking, eating.
so when it is nothing but mechanics (and i believe in this), a robot is not different to me. human being is just a word.

then ai and me talk with each other.
and this gives my question; i can explain how to see, but how to feel is different.

but like said, it may be a big illusion to say that ai wouldn't solve it.
