YOUR ROLE AT BLICKFELD

With our Blickfeld LiDAR we develop eyes to see the world in an innovative kind of way. One supporting pillar for this revolutionary development is our electronics department.
As our Electronics Development Engineer (m/f/d), you will play a key role in the development of our LiDAR system - from prototyping to series production.
Together with a team of electrical engineers, but also in collaboration with other departments, you will fathom new methods to continuously improve the system performance and quality.
Be part in creating the latest technology by designing complex and cutting-edge mixed signal circuits, e.g., high-speed electronics for single photon detection, generation of high power nano second laser pulses and miniaturization of the MEMS mirror control electronics.

YOUR TASKS

⟋ Develop the next generation of our LiDAR system electronics, including high speed pulse laser drivers, RF photodetector amplifiers and FPGA based data processing systems
⟋ Be responsible for the integration of hardware components into the overall product and therefore work closely with our optics-, MEMS- and software teams
⟋ Take care of the automotive qualification of our electronics components and bring them from prototype level to the maturity phase
⟋ Develop testing methods to characterize our electronics components in laboratory and production environment

⟋ Support us to maintain our technological lead continuously by enhancing our LiDAR systems quality and performance


YOUR PROFILE

⟋ You hold a diploma or masters degree in Electrical Engineering, Physics or equivalent
⟋ You have solid knowledge of analog and digital circuit design, PCB layout and electronic circuit simulation
⟋ You have a hands-on mentality and experience in building and leading teams
⟋ Ideally, you have experience with mechanical design and CAD software (e.g. Autodesk Inventor)
⟋ Experience in automotive qualification of hardware components and in functional safety are a plus
⟋ You have good communication skills in German and English (verbal, written)
