Did you mean 'feel'? As potato kraut I can't guess how the differences between words like 'sense' or 'feel' are accentuated by native speakers.

A machine does not have any feeling. A machine could measure some enviroment effects-but the ability to feel is something which exclusivly reserved by living creatures, humans, animals, maybe plants...

Also artifical intelligence is only a machine. Even if you try to simulate emotions, it is what it is: a non-living machine. Doesn't matter which program is running on it. Its horrible if human raise an ordinary machine to his own, robots as girl-replacement or as replacement for social interaction in general.

The only interesting thing is in my oppinion the reason to think more about us. What makes us to humans? It sounds like a stupid philosophy-overstrained question, but your question shows that this topic is not sufficient answered.
