So etwas kann fast IMMER noch andere Gründe haben, ist schon klar.

... Wie würde man als Gelegenheits-Programmierer so etwas umsetzen ...

Ich hatte eher gehofft, dass weltweit recht umsatzträchtige Unternehmen eher Profis an die Arbeit setzen.

Ich hatte als Gelegenheits-/Amateur-/Mässig-bis-schlecht-programmierer recht früh etwas von Ringspeicher gehört.

... ein Großteil der Nutzer hat nur eine Kopplung und der Fehler fällt nicht auf ...

Der Großteil der Autofahrer braucht nie den Airbag - wozu also das teure Teil einbauen/rumschleppen . . .

Unfortunately the mouse have a limit of pairings with the receivers. Apparently that imit was reached. The mouse was not designed to be constantly paired and un-pared with the receivers. The capability to pair and un-pair is there to be used if the need to replace the receiver arrives. The mouse is designed to be paired with one receiver and work with that receiver. The receiver should move from computer to computer with the mouse. The receiver is designed to work with, up to, six (6) compatible devices.
Although the mouse has been used in a different way from the one for which was designed, I will be happy to request that the Warranties Department evaluate the possibility to replace the product, since you were not aware of this design limitation. In order to do this, we would kindly request that you provide the following details...

Ahh so. Dieses "The receiver should move from computer to computer with the mouse" KÖNNTE ja auch in den Dokumentationen stehen.

Also werde ich doch was anderes als Logitech kaufen. Denn - wozu die teure Hardware, wenn ich beim Umsteigen vom Notebook zum Desktop schon wieder unter den Tisch kriechen muss - und bei der Rückmontage noch ein Mal . . . irgendwie wars vielleicht doch ein Anfänger-/Gelegenheits-Programmierer ohne (IT-)Lebenserfahrung. Dann also lieber zwei Billigmäuse die NICHT aus der Logi..produktion stammen für den halben Preis der für ne eingeschränkt nutzbaren Logi-maus und einen Zusatzempfänger bezahlt werden muss.
