Der Contest ist nicht ganz neu, aber er wurde hier soweit ich weiß noch nicht besprochen. Ich finde besonders die Bilder von den Reinugungsergebnissen sehr interessant. Ein guter Anhaltspunkt sind natürlich auch die Wettkampfregeln, die ich hier etwas verkürzt habe.

Contest area/furnishing of contest area
The following items of furniture will be placed in the contest area: 1 table, several chairs, couch, occasional table, sideboard / bookshelf, standard lamp, 1-2 vases, 2-3 plants, soft toy (representing a dog or cat), doll (representing a baby).

Dirt
The "dirt" will either be sugar, chalk dust or confetti. The dirt will be chosen so that it can be removed in several ways, e.g. by vacuuming or by scrubbing or by sweeping.

Hardware requirements
The weight of a robot must not exceed 30kg and its size must not exceed 60cm in diameter or side-length and 50 cm in height.

Score
The main criterion for judging the performance of a system will be time taken and cleaned (covered) area. The time limit will be 10 minutes.

Fouls
Each damage to a piece of furniture will lead to a penalty of 33 % of the achieved scores.
