Twin Tweaks
September 2005 - Evan & Bryce Woolley

This month, we have the honor of presenting two robots from Arexx Engineering: Asuro and Robby RP-5. These two educational kits hail from across the pond, and can be aptly described as Europe’s most popular educational robotics kits.

Asuro, in particular, has been a big hit ever since a German Linux magazine published an article on it (Asuro can be programmed in C and Linux). A cursory glance at Robby’s box revealed it to be programmed in CCBASIC, but it also comes with a graphical “drag and drop” programming interface, and that makes it popular with us.

Will Robby and Asuro be as popular in the US as in Europe? There are a great many robotics education kits already available (Vex and LEGO Mindstorms, for example), but we’ll see if these intrepid adventurers from Europe have what it takes to carve out their own niche in the States.

Leider habe ich noch keine Antwort erhalten, ob ich den Artikle hier veröffentlichen darf. Ich vermute somit , NEIN.
